Hankook Tire Supplies Original Equipment Tires for the New Porsche Panamera

Seoul, Korea, October 26, 2026 — A leading global tire company Hankook Tire & Technology (Hankook Tire) is supplying its ultra-ultra-high-performance (UUHP) Ventus S1 evo Z tires as original equipment (OE) for the new Porsche Panamera.

The latest OE fitments include new 21-inch sizes: 275/35 ZR21 for the front axle and 325/30 ZR21 for the rear axle. The 19- and 20-inch sizes, which Hankook Tire has supplied for the Panamera since 2021, will also be fitted to the new model, completing the Ventus S1 evo Z lineup across all sizes from 19 to 21 inches. All supplied sizes feature Porsche-specific ND0 homologation markings on the sidewall.

The Ventus S1 evo Z was engineered to deliver a balance of ride comfort and dynamic driving performance for the Panamera. In addition to standard homologation tests for this vehicle segment, the tires underwent testing at maximum speed on Germany’s Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit to validate their structural robustness and ability to meet the demands of high-performance sports driving.

The Ventus S1 evo Z features an asymmetric tread pattern designed to deliver exceptional handling and stable grip. Its tread blocks are engineered to maintain optimal stiffness under varying driving conditions, while three main grooves on the inner tread enhance water drainage on wet roads. A larger outer tread block area further enhances cornering performance and provides stable grip on dry roads.

In addition, the tire features a double-layer carcass reinforced with aramid hybrid fibers to enhance high-speed stability. This construction minimizes tire deformation caused by heat generated during high-speed driving, helping maintain precise steering response. High-strength steel belts and beads, combined with a reinforced sidewall structure, further enhance straight-line stability and handling precision.

The Ventus S1 evo Z is currently supplied as original equipment for high-performance vehicles from global premium automakers. In the replacement tire market, it is available in 15 sizes ranging from 18 to 21 inches, with tire widths from 225 to 315 mm and aspect ratios ranging from 30 to 45. In July 2026, the Ventus S1 evo Z was also selected as an OE fitment for Porsche’s iconic 911 Carrera sports car.
