Gil Membrado wins the Spanish Rally Championship with Hankook

Tyre Motorsport and Team PAST presented Hankook with its first national title in the 2025 Spanish Rally Championship (CERT), and with it claimed a historic success for the tyre maker in Spain. The win came courtesy of 17-year-old Gil Membrado (Spain) in a Ford Fiesta Rally2, who became the youngest champion in this discipline. Four back-to-back victories had given Membrado a comfortable lead coming into the demanding Rally Terra de Galicia at the start of September, at which he finished third to wrap up the title ahead of the end of the season. Even on the varying gravel stages, the Hankook tyres performed consistently, contributing in no small part to the young Spaniard’s success.
