Hankook wins Best Fan Experience award in Formula E for the second time

Hankook, exclusive tyre supplier and official partner of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, has been named “Best Fan Experience of the Year” for Season 11 of Formula E. The premium tyre maker attracted roughly 50,000 visitors to the Fan Village, the official fan festival programme in Formula E, at various venues in the USA, Germany and London. As a result, Hankook has now received the award for the partner with the greatest fan engagement for the second time, having previously done so in Season 9. Hankook was particularly praised for strengthening the connection with motorsport fans around the world, both at the racetrack and online with fascinating content regarding its innovative EV tyre technology. For example, visitors to the Hankook stand on race weekends were able to explore the entire product range of the iON tyre series – the world’s first tyre family exclusively for electric vehicles. Numerous interactive areas also allowed fans to take part in activities such as racing games and topic-related photo zones. The online events saw participating fans rewarded with tickets for race days. All of this provided fans with many different opportunities to familiarise themselves with the Hankook brand, whilst at the same time experiencing the fascination of Formula E up close and personal.
