Third RCN win of the season for Schmickler and Luther at the Nürburgring
10 Sep 2025
The Rundstrecken Challenge Nürburgring (RCN) kicked off the second half of the season with more than 149 cars, all equipped with the Hankook Ventus Race, at the “Bergischer Schmied” event on 17th August. The performance test took place on the 25.378-kilometre combination of the Nürburgring’s Grand Prix circuit and the legendary Nordschleife. For 15 laps of a dry track, the Hankook tyres provided ideal conditions for fast and consistent times. The winners were Germans Markus Schmickler and Michael Luther in a Schmickler Performance BMW M4 GT4. This was the duo’s third victory of the current season in this popular grassroots series. The Israeli pairing of Hagay Farran and Moran Gott also enjoyed a successful day in their BMW G20 330i. They managed to extend their overall lead with victory in the R2A class.
