Rostek wins DRM2 title with Hankook

The ADAC Saarland-Pfalz Rally from 15^th to 16^th August saw the German pairing of Dennis Rostek and co-driver Stefan Kopczyk wrap up the title in the DRM2 class on Hankook tyres with two events still remaining. Second place in a Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 was sufficient for them to open up an unassailable lead over the chasing pack. Rostek achieved the feat with the support of the Hankook tyres, which provided optimal conditions on all twelve special stages. “Winning the Masters was our goal coming into the season, and I am happy that we have already achieved it. We were extremely fast on our Hankook tyres, particularly on Saturday. However, the heat was brutal and I am happy that I can now drive back to my family in an air-conditioned car,” said Rostek after the rally. He will again put his faith in Hankook’s premium tyre at the coming event, the ADAC Rally Stemweder Berg from 26^th to 27^th September.
