Strauven extends his lead in the Spanish Formula 4 Championship in Portugal and France

03 Jul 2025

With two events on the Portuguese Algarve coast and at Circuit Paul Ricard, the youngsters in the Spanish Formula 4 Championship enjoyed an eventful June. Belgian Thomas Strauven won all three races in Portimão and added a further two victories in Le Castellet. To help him extend his lead at the top of the table, he used the consistently high grip level of the Hankook Ventus Race, which allowed him to push his car to the limit at all times.

Behind him, it remains a close affair: Poland’s Jan Przyrowski (133 points) and René Lammers (132) from the Netherlands are separated by just one point, while Belgian rookie Ean Eyckmans is also lurking just off the pace on 126 points. All three impressed with good pace and fine results – supported by the reliable performance of the Hankook tyre, which impressed with a high level of durability and stability, even in the intense battles in the middle of the field. The second half of the season gets underway from 19th to 21st September at Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto.
