Eurocup-3 at the Red Bull Ring: Colnaghi and Gladysz impress with Hankook at season opener

The 2025 Eurocup-3 season kicked off with two spectacular races at the Red Bull Ring from 16^th to 18^th May – and with the latest generation of talented international drivers on Hankook tyres. Italian Mattia Colnaghi, the reigning Spanish Formula 4 champion, dominated Saturday’s race from pole position. Thanks to the reliable grip level of his Hankook tyres, he was able to dictate the tempo from start to finish. The consistent performance of the tyre also allowed him to set the fastest lap time. On Sunday, Poland’s Maciej Gladysz produced an impressive fightback. After a difficult Saturday, he raced through a gap during a close battle at the start of race two and took the lead in turn three. The stable grip of his Hankook race tyres proved to be the key to his first win of the season. Colnaghi finished runner-up to complete a strong weekend and consequently leads both the overall standings and the Rookie competition after the season opener. The next event is from 6^th to 8^th June in Portimão, Portugal.
