Taylor leads TCR Italy after four races: Misano and Imola host spectacular motorsport

Two exciting race weekends in May kicked off the 2025 TCR Italy season – with high-class touring car racing in Misano (3^rd to 4^th May) and Vallelunga (24^th to 25^th May).

Canadian Nicolas Taylor started the season in top form. The reigning champion took victory in an Audi RS3 LMS in both Saturday races – ably assisted by the reliable performance of the Hankook race tyre, which provided him with the necessary grip on dry asphalt. He also made a third appearance on the podium, courtesy of third place in race four in Vallelunga. The Sunday races were won by Italian Nicola Baldan in Misano and Britain’s Alex Ley in Vallelunga. Both benefitted from the reverse grid and took full advantage of their positions. Taylor travels as championship leader to the iconic Italian circuit in Monza, where top-class racing is guaranteed again from 20^th to 22^nd June.
